Your First Appointment, Step-by-Step
Your first visit gives Bonnie time to understand what is going on in your body, what you are hoping to improve, and which areas feel painful, tense, restricted, or out of balance.
1. Intake and Health History
Your appointment begins with a conversation about your health history, current symptoms, lifestyle, movement habits, and goals for treatment. This helps Bonnie understand the full picture before beginning hands-on care.
2. Assessment
Bonnie will assess how your body is moving and where tension, restriction, or imbalance appears. This often includes looking at posture, mobility, comfort level, and how different areas of the body work together.
3. Treatment
Your treatment is based on what Bonnie finds during your intake and assessment. She uses gentle hands-on manual osteopathy techniques to support better movement, reduce tension, and help your body feel more balanced.

Please complete your intake and consent form before your first appointment. This helps Bonnie prepare for your visit and saves time when you arrive.
You should also confirm your insurance coverage before your appointment if you plan to submit your receipt for reimbursement.

Most insurance providers cover osteopathic services, but coverage depends on your individual plan. Please confirm your coverage before your appointment using Bonnie’s contact and registration information.
